I can believe it’s been two weeks since I’ve updated! I’ve been so busy, whenever I’ve had a chance to relax I’ve been zoning out on TV or thinking about my next move, haha 😀
Since I last updated, I’ve had two bookings; one private event and one industrial video shoot. The private event was amazing, there was a performance by Wiz Kalifa, free drinks, and food, fancy cars in a beautiful area of Orange County. It was fun too! I got to meet other models from the agency I’m with also, so that was a nice perk. The industrial video shot in Ontario, I played a nurse who’s also a mom…I don’t ever plan on ever having kids so this was the closest I’m going to get!
On top of that, I had a few castings that I’m really excited about, one was in Vegas! I had a great time there, staying with one of my partner’s friends. I’ve spent a lot of time in Vegas so it’s always nice to go back there. During the weekend we also went to see an improv show, “Alternative Facts of Life” at Finest City Improv! As part of the class we’re taking, we get to see shows for free. It was such a fun show to watch, to top it off our instructor was in it! It was great to see him do his thang.
As if that wasn’t enough, then I kept filming for the art studio, got a wardrobe consult and went to our improv class as well. Phew! I had a lot on my plate the last few weeks, luckily the next week or two are a little bit clearer so I can relax, plan and execute.
As always I’ve been keeping my eyes on the news and nothing really caught my eye…Although I do recommend listening to Reply All’s latest episode “The Russian Passenger“. This podcast is always doing something interesting, and this episode doesn’t disappoint! Freakonomics also had a great episode this week called “Why Is My Life So Hard,”really put things in perspective. My partner is always telling me what this episode proves journalistically/academically: be grateful for what you have no matter where you’re at in your life.
That said, I hope you stay grateful for what you have this week and every week.
See you next week! (Promise)
